The Delta 28-641 is a industrial 20 inch wood cutting band saw with a 2 HP, 230/460V (wired 230V), 60 Hz, three phase motor. The wheels are cast iron and precision balanced and have urethane tires for better tracking and smoother operation. Blade changes are simple with hinged upper and lower wheel covers and a blade tensioning handwheel that is conveniently located above the table. A built-in dust chute allows easy hook up to a dust collector. To prolong the tire life and reduce vibration due to debris build up, tire-cleaning brush keeps the wheels free of dust and chips. Fully adjustable blade guides and support bearings keep the blade aligned for better cutting performance.
