The Hobart Handler 500501 is a Factory Reconditioned "B" stock portable MIG welder. In a single pass the Hobart Handler 500501's powerful output welds 24 gauge materials up to 5/16 inches.The replaceable, built in contactor of this welding tool ensures ease of use and safety as it makes the welding wires electrically "cold" when not in use. The polarity changeover checks the polarity of switches and changes polarity to ensure user safety. The quick-change dual groove drive rolls enable easy change of wire diameter between 023-.025 in (0.6 mm) and .030 - .035 in (0.8 - 0.9 mm) wire.The self-resetting thermal overload makes the welder all the more reliable as it maintains the heat to the optimum level and protects the power transformer from overload outages. Four output voltage with wire feed control enable fine-tuning with less spatter.
