Our R2 Series Rotary Base System is an extreme delivery in quality and function.
The R2s each have fully machined components including adjustable legs (with interchangeable brass and rubber tips), mainframes and a precision bearing rotary dial plate.
Each includes a bulls-eye vial system allowing precision leveling from any given surface, a protractor dial for degree layouts, built-in thumbscrew brake and tension system for micrometer type adjustments.
Each is precision machined, anodized and permanently laser engraved, and designed to accommodate the 880, 770 and 660 series laser tools for full line integration.
Here again the unseen attention to components like precision stainless steel bearing o-ring fitments and tensioning, proper machined shoulder bolts and specialty lubricants make our Rotary Bases a true professional component and a clear extension of our quality efforts.
PDP375 The R2-D2 is a double plate Rotary Base designed to be used on any surface application like the R2-D1 series as well as fitting any standard camera, video or our own professional survey tripod for free-standing versatility.
