The Porter-Cable PTS2 is a 5 inches High Speed Air Pad Sander. It is fast, turning at 18000 revolutions per minute (RPM) at 90 lbs per square inch (PSI). The 1/2 HP motor is balanced for minimal vibration. It comes standard with one each 3 inches, 4.5 inches and 5.5 inches back-up pads. The different pads are needed since the speed can be adjusted from a minimum of 450 RPM to a maximum 18000 RPM, making the unit perfect for all sanding, rough shaping, sharpening or general preparation needs. It features a familiar trigger switch and a cushioned grip for maximum comfort and control.
