The Porter-Cable 7499 is a Cut-Out Tool. The powerful 3.4 Amp motor turns at 28000 RPM to smoothly and easily cut a variety of sheet goods including drywall, cement board, ceramic wall tile, plaster, paneling and acoustical. An adjustable depth guide assures proper bit depth and stabilizes the tool for accurate cutting. Designed to fit comfortably in the hand, the body of the tool flares out at the base, providing a combination dust shield and safety guard. A built-in spindle lock and on-board wrench storage make bit changes quick and easy.
