The Porter Cable 55166 is a 16-Inch Miniature Variable Finger Template for the 16 Omnijig Joinery System (55160) which enables miniature variable-spaced through and half-blind joints to be cut. When it is used with the accessory kit (55165), miniature box joints of varying finger widths may be produced. The Porter Cable 55166 allows the user to replicate traditional, hand cut dovetail joints by providing narrow pin capability for through and half-blind dovetails. It is especially suitable for small pieces such as jewelry boxes. Set & Forget template alignment stops and router bit depth gauges combine to minimize test cuts and offer repeatability across changing applications. Its router bit depth gauges allow the user to set bit depth without measuring.
