The Porter-Cable 54745 is a sponge rubber applicator which is easy to mount by using the built-in mounting post. The random orbit polishing pad on a polisher wears because of normal use which decreases its performance. Hence to keep the polisher running at its peak it is necessary to replace the pad when it becomes worn.
