Porter-Cable 43692PC Tru-Match Solid Surface Bit

The Porter-Cable 43692PC is a Tru-Match Solid Surface bit. The bit is designed to join solid surface materials with a seamless look. The 43692PC is used for producing self-aligning mating edges on solid surface materials. The specially shaped cutting edge of the Tru-Match router bit improves glue joints in three ways. The wavy cut allows perfect alignment of mating edges when used with the Tru-Match sub-base (sold separately). Also, because the glue joint is not a straight line, it is less obvious and tends to disappear for a seamless look. Finally, the wavy edge has more surface area for gluing, increasing the strength of the joint.
