The rugged worm gear transmits power smoothly to the blade because the gears have the same amount of surface area contact at all times. The 4.5 Amp ball bearing motor turns at 4500 RPM to quickly power through all plywoods, paneling and 1-by lumber. It will cut 1-5/16 inches deep at 90º and 1-1/16 inches at 45º.
