The Porter-Cable 9748 is a Factory Reconditioned Variable-Speed Tiger Saw Kit. The Tiger saw features extra heavy-duty 11.5 Amp motor which provides maximum power for all cutting applications. The motor of the 9748 has electronic variable speed of 0 - 2600 SPM which maintains speed under load for smooth consistent cutting. Quik-Change blade clamp for keyless blade changes in seconds. Full 1-1/8 inch cutting stroke length cuts more stock in less time than shorted stroke saws. Quik-Change front shoe can be extended to utilize more of the blades teeth in the cutting action. The Porter-Cable 9748 allows for orbital cutting in wood and reciprocating cutting in metal for increased versatility.
