OTC 6489 Master Cam Tool Set

The OTC 6489 is a Ford Cam Positioning Master Tool Set. The OTC Ford Cam Tools ensure correct cam timing when servicing timing belts, chains, head gaskets or other valve train repairs. OTC Ford Cam Tools avoid improperly timed cams that can cause poor performance, poor mileage and possible vehicle "check engine" light engagement. The tools are also broken down into three smaller kit configurations. No. 6486 is OTC Ford Cam Tool Kit for 2.0L Zetec engines in Contour/ Mystique, No. 6487 is OTC Ford Cam Tool Kit for 1992 thru current 4.6L, 5.4L and 6.8L modular V-8 engines and No. 6488 is OTC Ford Cam Tool Kit for 1997 thru 2002 4.0L Explorer/ Mountaineer SOHC V-6 engines.
