Product Description-OTC (Division of SPX Corp.) OTC1728

    The OTC 1728 is a High Lift Transmission Jack with Air Assist First Stage. The OTC 1728 jack makes quick work of removing and installing todays automotive and light truck transmissions. Unique lifting platform includes an air assist which features rapidly raises the mounting head to the transmission. The second lifting stage is hydraulically actuated, permitting precise operator control during the removal and final installation process. Transmission mounting head features four ratcheting brackets that adjust to fit a wide range of transmissions. Its four-wheel base with locking swivel casters provides stability and portability. Foot-operated release allows operator to guide and control the load during transmission removal.
