The Milwaukee 48-11-2830 is a V28 28V Lithium-Ion Battery. The V28 Lithium-Ion battery pack offers up to twice the run-time of an 18V Ni-Cd or Ni-MH pack and is lighter than 18V Ni-Cd and Ni-MH packs. The Lithium-Ion technology allows consistent fade-free power, which means the first cut is as powerful as the last. The V28 Lithium-Ion battery pack does not have a memory effect, full battery capacity is available all the time regardless of the current charge level. The fuel gauge button and LED indicators display the remaining charge left in the pack which provides an ideal way to check the state of the pack.
