I am always skeptical of refurbished products but, I gave it a shot because I figured a refurbished Milwaukee would probably be very good and I was right. These drills are awesome, I got my first chance to really use them this past weekend putting in a closet organizer for my sister and I used both drills all day and night for a total of around 12 hours of pretty much continuous use. The batteries were still not even halfway depleted according to the little battery meter on the drills and the drill/driver I was using on the highest setting for drilling holes in drywall, metal and wood without a drop in power output at all. The drills and batteries are just awesome and since they are reconditioned they cost half of what they do new. GREAT DEAL!!!!!!! (Posted on 4/13/10)

Bought this drill/impact driver set for work, and it has performed well. It did, however get quite hot drilling (several) holes in aluminum. For the price you can't beat it, but if you really need your drill to have cojones, get a bigger one... (Posted on 8/10/10)

I have been using Milwaukee products for over 30 years so buying this product was easy. I have purchased refurbished items before and have had nothing but good luck. When you buy a Milwaukee, you should rest assured that you have purchased a high quality tool that will last for years. I received this combo kit last week and have used it non stop since in my electrical business. It is everything you will need to get the job done! Don't hesitate........buy it! (Posted on 5/18/10)

Amazing price and quality - well under market value. Super high quality - reconditioned but looked new. To test the power of impact driver, I used extension drivers and 3/8 drive socket and actually removed fully tightened lug nut from my Toyota Camry - you would not believe what this tool can do. I also tried a 1-inch spade bit and it tore through oak very fast. Totally impressed - buy one now, you will never look back! (Posted on 5/6/10)

This is a really great drill. It has the shortest head length of any 18v drill, and still packs all the power. Haven't had to use it for anything bigger than a 1 in. spade bit or a 2 in. hole saw, but it handled those without breaking a sweat. The impact driver puts screws in and out without protesting, and is QUICK about it. The case for this kit is excellent, best in the industry. This kit comes with the compact batteries, and they just keep going. I really like the power gauge on the batteries. Also included in my kit was a belt hook and bit holder, which can be mounted to either tool, bonus!
When looking to replace my old 18v set and upgrading to lithium-ion, I ordered a couple different kits from Tool King (varying brands), and returned them and ordered a new item until I settled on this Milwaukee set. The customer service was excellent, and the price for these tools is just amazing. For what I paid, I was concerned they might be somewhat under-powered (even for compact tools), but was pleasantly surprised in their performance. Ordering refurb items is always a bit of a gamble as to what condition they will be in, but for what it's worth mine are in new condition. I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase. Both tools work very well. A ton of torque. Its a little strange that the battery has full power until the end. First time I ran out of battery, i thought i had burned up the tool. Good thing the battery level indicator.

The m-18 drill and impact are really great. Low weight, high torque and long run time. Only complaint is both tools get HOT under heavy use. It takes a little time to get used to the battery. Goes from full power to nothing all at once. Made me think i had burned up the tool. Very pleased with my purchace. (Posted on 8/18/11)

These drills are great. They are slightly heavier than the Makita's but I find them to be a little stronger, especially the impact. So strong in fact, that you need to be careful because it will break off screw and bolt heads with ease. In my mind, this is the best drill set money can buy and especially when you can pick up the reconditioned for $175. When I got them they looked like they had been used maybe once, for an hour or two. I'm happy. (Posted on 10/1/11)
