The Makita LS1040F 10 inch compound miter saw is truly the most favorite jobsite saw around. The saw is equipped with a flexible fluorescent lamp that eliminates the work area giving better visibility for more accurate cuts. It features dual post compound pivoting arm. The saw can perform almost any compound cutting operations. The saw has cutting capacity of bevel cut up to 45º to the left and miter cut 0º to 45º left, 0º to 52º right.
