The Makita HR4000C is a 1-9/16 inch 2-Mode SDS Max Rotary Hammer. The drill can be set for hammer only or rotation with hammering. Its reduced vibration means less wear and tear on the arms and wrists. The tool is designed so it won’t hammer at idle. A one-touch sliding chuck means easy bit installation and removal. Its side grip swivels 360º and adjusts to 8 positions forward and back. A handy indicator light lets user know when to replace those carbon brushes. It avoids wobbly starts with the soft start electronic switch feature and an electronic variable speed control dial gives user more control.
