The Makita 9564 is a 4-1/2 inch SJS Angle Grinder. The grinder is designed with super joint system (SJS), labyrinth construction and advanced motor protection to withstand the most harsh working conditions. SJS helps prevent gear damage which often occurs if the grinding wheel accidentally catches or binds and the labyrinth construction seals and protects the motor and bearings from dust and debris by creating a complex set of channels prohibiting contamination. Finally, a protective zig-zag varnish seals the motor from contamination by forming an impenetrable barrier under rotation.
