The Makita BJS130Z is an 18-Volt LXT Lithium-Ion 18 Gauge Metal Shear Tool Only. The BJS130Z cuts steels (up to 18 gauge) and stainless materials (up to 20 gauge.) The shear head attachment rotates 360° for optimum maneuverability. 22-minute Fast Charger and battery communicates throughout the charging process using the built-in chip in the battery and built-in CPU chip in the charger. The Charger also uses "Active 3 Control" for current control, thermal control & voltage control. Fast Charger has a built-in fan to cool the battery to produce more lifetime work. The shear is compact and lightweight (13-3/4 Inches overall.) The ergonomic handle with soft grip material makes it easier to grasp and improves accuracy.
