The Makita 743081-8 5-Inch Hook and Loop Backing Pad is intended for use as a replacement backing pad for the BO5010 Orbital Sander. The 743081-8 has a foam body with a hard plastic backing plate. This Backing Pad has a velcro finish for easy and secure attachment of hook-and-loop sanding discs.

- Hook-and-loop (velcro) underside for secure attachment of abrasive discs
- Eight vacuum holes allow for dust collection through the pad when used with the BO5010 Sander
