Performax 638003 Model 22-44 Pro 22" - 44" Drum Sander. This drum sander is designed for maximum performance. The new powerful 1-3/4 HP motor. Ball bearing support for smooth height adjustment. New cast iron drum support and leg supports for more strength and less vibration. The 22-44 will sand stock as thin as 1/64-inch, up to as thick as 4 inches, and will cover a width of 44 inches in just two passes. It is accurate to within .010-inch of uniform thickness. Proven design doubles sanding capacity, allowing stock wider than the 22-inch drum to be sanded in two passes. Supported on both ends witha truss-like carriage arm, the drum is aligned with the table surface with 1-inch, permanently lubricated ball-bearings mounted on both ends of the drum. Cast aluminum stand construction, zinc-plated steel bed, centerless ground column tube. Minimal assembly required. 20 Amp service required.
