This 20" electronic variable speed drill press runs quieter and smoother than a conventional variable speed head. The low maintenance head has less moving parts, and a high-low gear box to maintain low speed torque. The chrome molybdenum gears are hardened, ground, and shaved. The spindle speed can be adjusted in each range during operation with the LED spindle RPM readout conveniently mounted. The tapping mode allows instantaneous spindle reversal. The extra large emergency stop button adds to safe operation, and the work table can be raised from the front or the side.
