Powermatic 1791289 COS18R 18" Right Hand Cut-Off Saw, 10 HP, 3 Phase, 230-460V

The Powermatic 1791289 is a 18" Right Hand Cut-Off Saw. The saw is powered by a big 10 HP motor and is designed for production cutting of up to 70 cycles a minute. The saw is constructed with a cast iron table and heavy steel plate body, built for production cutting. The blade is mounted to a chrome steel alloy arbor that is precision ground and balanced. The arbor is supported by massive bearings and full power of the 10 HP motor is transmitted to the blade. Each cutting cycle is cushioned by a large shock absorber and cycle times are easily adjustable. A large 4" dust collection port keeps the work area clear. Blade changes are accomplished quickly through the large side access door. Standard equipment includes a pneumatic safety guard on the inside and a full basket guard on the finish side. The heavy blade/clamp assembly is quickly positioned for different jobs.
