The DeWalt D26453K random orbit sander has a 3.0 Amp motor that deliver a variable speed range of 7000-12000 OPM. The D2645K3 random orbit sander features the Controlled Finishing System (CFS). The CFS mechanically controls pad speed and minimizes material gouging that can occur during start up. The random orbit sander offer a 3/32 orbit diameter that provides an optimal pad swath for the progressive removal of material. To increase durability, the tool has a DeWalt built and designed motor, dust sealed switch to prevent contamination as well as 100% sealed ball bearing construction. In addition to the rubber grip, the sander is also equipped with a dual-plane counter-balanced fan that mechanically reduces vibration further and, in turn, decreases the likelihood of user fatigue.
