Scribing done with a dime-store compass, or a block of wood and pencil, yields results that are often less than satisfactory. AccuScribe Pro makes it easy to maintain a consistent scribe offset due to the wide, flat back and articulating pencil holder. The adjustable head even allows you to scribe the back of molding and trim! But there’s more: insert a compass pin into the tip and Accuscribe Pro can draw up to 24-Inch diameter circles (using a long pencil), use the marking gauge lip to layout cut lines, or use the built-in sharpen to get a nice point on your pencil.
