The DeWalt DW788 factory reconditioned scroll saw features double parallel link arm design with pivot points at the front of the saw which dramatically reduces vibration. With this up front, less of the arm moves during cutting for a smoother and quieter operation. Blade stays perpendicular to the work, eliminating under or over cutting. The saw features fixed-position blade clamp to make following a line easier and tool-free blade change system to decrease deflection. Conveniently, the on-off switch, electronic variable speed, flexible dust blower and blade tensioning lever are all located on the front upper arm. An oversized cast iron table provides extensive material support and bevels 45º left and right for shadow boxes or inlays.
