Product Description-DeWalt DW712
The DeWalt DW712 8-1/2" single-bevel sliding compound miter saw is perfect for trim carpenters, cabinet makers, woodworkers, framers and stair builders. The DW712 is the only 8-1/2" miter saw with a fence system and enough capacity for users to vertically cut 3-1/4" base molding and 3-1/2" crown molding nested vertically. The DeWalt DW712 compound miter saw is able to cut through 3 newel posts in one pass, an application important to stair builders. In addition, the DW712 can be used to crosscut a 2-by-12 board at 90°s and a 2-by-8 board at 45°s. The DW712 cuts miter angles up to 50°s left and 60°s right. This DeWalt miter saw features an adjustable steel detent plate for increased miter accuracy and has 11 positive miter stops, including 0, 15, 22-1/2, 31.6, 45, 50 and 60°s.
