The DeWalt DW706 factory reconditioned 12" double-bevel compound miter saw boasts the highest vertical cutting capacity in its class. It meets the trends and needs of users who install large trim material in custom home and remodeling jobs. The DW706 cuts crown molding vertically up to 6-5/8" and base molding vertically up to 6". Its flat cutting capacity is 8", in comparison other 12" saws only have the vertical capacity to cut 5-1/4" crown and 3-1/2" base. DeWalt added the extra cutting capability by utilizing a patented right-angle gearbox design and high sliding fences. For more accuracy and versatility the DW706 cuts 50° left and right miter angles and has 48° bevel capability.
