The DeWalt DW1786 is a 3/16" - 7/8" Step Drill Bit. The self starting step bit is designed with multiple steps to eliminate the need for many special size drill bits. It is double fluted for optimum speed & accuracy. Designed with flats on shank to prevent bit slipping in chuck. The most commonly used steps are highlighted for quick recognition. Step-drill bit allows to drill multiple sizes of holes with just one bit, by simply stopping the bit at the desired hole diameter.
