The DeWalt DW056K-2 is an 18 Volt Heavy-Duty Cordless Impact Driver Kit. This timesaving tool is a cross between a cordless drill/driver and an impact wrench. It combines high-speed rotation (2,400 rpm) with jackhammer-like percussion (3,000 beats per minute) to drive and remove screws faster and easier that any other tool. The DW056K-2 is powered by an 18-volt nickel-cadmium (Ni-Cad) battery that produces an impressive 1,170 inch-pounds of screw-twisting torque. It has a reversing, variable-speed motor, and a specially designed impacting mechanism that helps eliminate annoying kickbacks. The tool is equipped with an all-metal 1/4-inch quick-release chuck that accepts all 1/4-inch hex-shank accessories.
