The DC927 is a 18V hammer drill/driver with NANO Technology - Tool Only with Case. It is powered by a combination of a high-efficiency DeWalt-built motor and exclusive 18V nano-phosphate lithium ion battery. The combination delivers 425 UWO of maximum power and the runtime of 18V, but at 5.5 lbs weighs almost a pound less than traditional 18V hammer drills. The DC927 comes equipped with a patented 3-speed, all-metal transmission that helps to match the tools speed to the application. It also features an exclusive 1/2 inch, self-tightening chuck that tightens during work, for impressive bit-gripping torque reducing bit slippage or fall out. The hammer drills superior ergonomics are styled to optimize performance with balance, size and weight. The hammer drill/driver has three speed settings 0-450 RPM, 0-1500 RPM and 0-1800 RPM and it allows for three hammer drilling speeds, too 0-7650 BPM, 0-25500 BPM and 0-30600 BPM. It also offers 22 clutch settings for increased control in fastening applications.
