Both nailers allow users to quickly adjust nail depth with an innovative vertical slide that has five indexed positions. The air exhaust is channeled away from the user with a tool-free 360º adjustable exhaust cap. For jam clearing, DeWalt designed a tool-free front-latch mechanism that is easy to use and stays tight over the life of the tool. The contact trip and nose are designed to provide better nail-placement visibility. A low-profile no-mar pad grips material when toe-nailing, yet alleviates indentations from the contact trip.
