I have a DeWalt 14.4 cordless drill for bigger job's which work's great. But for smaller job's it is heavy at times. I got this 9.6 volt because it is lighter, but the drill get's the job done. Alot of power for a smaller drill. I am very happy with it. I have bought refurbished tool's in the past and I have never had a problem with them. (Posted on 8/11/10)

My drill, batteries, charger and case looked new and I had no problems using them immediately. I find that this size drill is easy to hold and handle in tight spaces with plenty of power. The higher voltage drills do have more run time but are also heavier and bulky. I usually have to contort myself for uncomfortably long periods when drilling or driving screws because of cramped working spaces so this lighter and more compact drill is a better fit for me. The reconditioned kit is a great value. The drill and batteries looked brand new. They performed well right out of the box. Toolking always delivers on descriptions and value. Thanks!!!! (Posted on 8/11/10)

For people that only use a drill ever-so-often you can not go wrong with this drill.
If a drill is needed often then a 18 volt should be your choice but if used only once
or twice a week this is the drill you need. (Posted on 8/11/10)

I have used these drills for over ten years now. I always get the refurbished ones, a great deal! Generally the batteries wear out long before the drill dies. After 5 or so years and regular use, they don't carry a charge very well. Plus when they get dropped on concrete... but hey, overall these are great tools. I use an 18V drill for heavy jobs, but the 9 V is great for general use. (Posted on 2/5/11)
