I built a deck with this saw and 2 batteries. This little saw kept up with my 110V Milwaukee skill saw. I was blown away. Poor Milwaukee collects dust on the shelf now. (My Milwaukee is a cadillac saw too!) I recommend this saw to everyone. There's lots of variables when working with wood......trim wood, framing lumber, wet treated lumber, fence posts, etc. But, it goes thru them all like "butta". (Common sense, you do have to keep the blade sharp on any saw.) I was also amazed at how long the batteries last. If you are on an all day job, I would recommend you have 2 batteries so you can charge one and saw with the other. (Posted on 11/2/10)

This was just the saw I needed to do the occasional far-flung cross cutting jobs that I have without hassling with all the cords. The saw came with a new Dewalt blade, which was a nice thing. The safety switch was a great addition as you wouldn't want this thing going off in your tool bag (or turned on by your 2 year old). Just wish the blade guard wasn't plastic as I fear it will damage easily and possibly liberate itself from the tool, not a good situation. Overall, though, I'll give it an A-. (Posted on 8/23/10)
