The DeWalt D28770K is a lightweight, intelligently designed portable band saw. The motor is placed on top of the blades which helps to maintain a comfortable balance while in use. Versatile enough for cutting aluminum, angle iron, galvanized pipe, mild and tougher steel including stainless, chrome and tungsten, the D28770K's knob-controlled variable cutting speed adjusts from 82 to 280 feet per minute.

The DeWalt D28770K also features an integrated sight light to help you clearly see the cut line, even if dim environments. A hanging hook protects the DeWalt D28770K's front handle and casting from damage when not in use. Rubber bumpers help protect the tool from job site abuse. The wide front handle allows for more hand space and the soft-grip back handle ensures maximum comfort when in use.
