Straight/Die grinders are used to sand and polish the inside of cylindrical objects such as sanding the metal spurs off metal piping after it has been cut. When choosing a die grinder, consider what attachments will be necessary and the amount of work the tool will do. Look for RPM ratings and no-load speed, sanding disc attachments and ease of disc replacement.
