Reciprocating saws are used predominantly in construction and demolition work. A reciprocating saw's cutting action is achieved through the push and pull motion of it's blade. Features to look for in a reciprocating saw include: variable speed motor, oscillating action option, size of motor, location of trigger, types of blades and corded versus battery operated reciprocation saws. Also called sawsall, Sabre saw and recipro saw.
