We have had bostitch air nailers for years and their quality has always been great. I have only used this gun on two jobs so far and the improvements from the N12 are fantastic. The single door design is more user friendly than the old two door design. The nail depth adjustment on the gun is very convenient. With our N12 you always have to adjust the pressure at the air compressor. If and when our N12 ever fails I will replace it with the RN46. (Posted on 8/13/10)

I have enjoyed using the nail gun, even more once I oiled it. It does not fire every time, but I have only used it for a few hours on 2 different days since I received it for Christmas. It seems to be a good tool. (Posted on 1/5/11)

I had the privilege of borrowing this nailer for a job and was astounded at how far it surpassed every other roofing gun I'd seen. It has every practical feature Bostitch could've conceived. I was disappointed to have to give it back. If I did roofing or siding on any kind of regular basis, I'd buy one in a heartbeat. (Posted on 9/19/10)

As a professional roofing company, we shoot close to 5 Mil. nails a year, and every one is shot with a RN46. They are sturdy, long lasting, and easily repairable. These guns normally last us close to 2 years of very heavy use.
The adjustable nose is the best design, and the solid cast nose last much longer than the other stamped steel types. Also, the single action reload is far better than any of the other.
If you are going to rely on this gun to make money, this roofing nailer is in a league of its own. Thank you Bostitch for another awesome tool, and thank you Tool King for getting them cheap. (Posted on 11/11/11)
