    The Alltrade 648412 is a Disc Brake Pad Spreader. It is for use on most front brake calipers and rear calipers on vehicles without automatically adjusting parking brake mechanism as part of the disc brake caliper. The spreader pushes on the inner pad and compresses the piston back into the bore, creating clearance for installation of new brake pads.
