The Big Horn 23045 is a Miniature Mortise & Marking Gauge. It is a mini version of Crown's mortising gauge used for laying out joints such as mortises and tenons. One side of the post has a single marking pin for general marking use. The other side of the post has two pins for laying out mortises. The width between the pins can be adjusted using the brass thumbscrew at the end of the gauge.
