The DeWalt DC315K 28V Cordless Reciprocating Saw with NANO Technology is powered by a combination of a high-efficiency DeWalt built motor and exclusive 28V nano-phosphate lithium ion battery. This combination delivers maximum power and runtime of 28V, but at 8 lbs. weighs one third of a pound less than traditional 18V reciprocating saws. The DC315K is equipped with a DeWalt built high-power, high-efficiency motor with an electric brake, providing enough power for tough jobsite applications. The DeWalt DC315K also delivers 0-3,000 strokes per minute and a stroke length of 1-1/8 allowing professional contractors to complete tasks quickly and move on to the next job. DeWalt designed the DC315K with a patented four-position keyless blade clamp that enables users to insert the saw blade into two common vertical positions as well as two horizontal cutting positions for added versatility and convenience when flush cutting. With the blade in a horizontal position, users are able to cut close to floors, walls and ceilings, or where clearance is limited. This results in less bending and breaking of blades. The DeWalt DC315K saw also has a three-position adjustable shoe that allows users to easily adjust the depth of cut for increased control and extended blade life.
